Oliver Dahlmann

German Teacher

Oliver joined Kielikanava in September 1999, though he has worked part-time as a teacher in Finland since 1995. After starting his studies in Germany, Oliver came to Finland to continue the study of Nordic history and languages at Åbo Akademi.

Liisa Lavón

Finnish Teacher, FL

Liisa Lavón teaches Finnish for us at Kielikanava. She has taught Finnish for English speakers moving to Finland who want to become fluent and for visitors who want a short "survival course" in Finnish. Besides teaching courses for us, she also teaches Finnish (language and communication) for the Turku School of Economics and Business Administration. In addition to her excellent qualifications, she is also a very warm, friendly and approachable person.

Zhu Jing

Chinese Teacher, MA

Jing graduated from Liaoning University in China as an English teacher in 1995. She then worked as a teacher at Shenjang University, where she also taught Chinese to foreigners living in China. Earlier, her students were so impressed with her teaching skills and patience that she was voted by them as 'Best Teacher' in 1992. Jing's students in Finland have been equally satisfied. Jing has also carried out market research for Finnish companies and arranged personnel exchanges between Finnish and Chinese companies.
